Birding at the Allotments
This small site records some of the birds and other wildlife seen around the Lauriston Agroecology Farm allotments and surrounding green spaces in North Edinburgh.
Even in a busy city garden there is a surprising amount of birdlife. Robins and blackbirds are regular visitors, sparrows chatter in the hedges, and from time to time other species pass through or stop to feed.
The aim of this site is simply to keep a record of what is seen here through the seasons and to encourage others to notice and enjoy the wildlife around the gardens.
Over time I hope to add notes, photos and short observations from around the plots and surrounding area.
